FAQ
How do I confirm the 6x5.5 bolt pattern fits my trailer?
Count the lug studs first — these wheels need six per hub. Then measure from the center of one stud straight across to the center of the stud directly opposite it. If that distance reads 5.5 inches (139.7 mm), the pattern matches.
What torque should I use on the lug nuts?
Use the torque value specified by your axle or trailer manufacturer for your stud size. Tighten in a criss-cross (star) sequence, and re-check torque after the first short loaded trip.
Do trailer wheels need to be balanced?
Usually not. A trailer axle does not steer, so small imbalances are far less noticeable than on a tow vehicle. Balancing beads inside the tire are a common option for long highway tows.

Wheel fitment quick check
Wheels fit by bolt pattern. Count your lug studs, then measure:
- 4, 6, or 8 lugs: measure center-to-center between two studs directly across from each other.
- 5 lugs: measure from the outer edge of one stud to the center of the second stud over.
Match the reading to the bolt pattern in this product's specifications. Full photo walkthrough: How to measure trailer wheel bolt pattern.
