FAQ

How do I confirm the 5x4.5 bolt pattern fits my trailer?
Count the lug studs first — this wheel needs five. On a 5-lug hub the measurement is not straight across: measure from the outer edge of one stud to the center of the second stud over, and the reading should be close to 4.5 inches. Our measuring guide shows the method in one minute.

Do trailer wheels need to be balanced?
Usually not. A trailer axle does not steer, so small imbalances are far less noticeable than on a tow vehicle. Balancing beads inside the tire are a common option for long highway tows.

Do aluminum trailer wheels need special care around salt?
Aluminum does not rust like steel, but salt water can still dull or pit the finish. Rinse with fresh water after ramp dips and dry before storage.
